Big Win For The Dream Team

The Philadelphia Eagles played very impressive against the Rams on Sunday. Micheal Vick played well in the red zone, that was a key piece of the puzzle for the offense going into the season.
Lashawn McCoy ran for 122 yards and a touchdown. Deshawn Jackson had 6 catches for a 104 yards recieving and a touchdown in the red zone. Mickeal Vick  threw for 188 yards and 2 touchdowns, ran for 97 yards with a 8.8 average. Jaqauwn parker returned a fumble 47 yards for a youchdown in the first quarter, that play set the tone of the game. The Eagles defense had 5 sacks and held Sam Bradford under 200 yards and no touchdowns.

Phillies lose 3 in a row

The Phillies lost there last 3 games, for the first time since early June. This has been the hottest team in the league. This is a position that were not used to. Charlie Manuel held a team meeting after last nights lost. Hoping to ignight some fire to the team. Today in Houston "DOC" Halladay takes the mound  at 2pm. to avoid a sweep. He brings with him a 17-5 record a 2.44 era and 204 strikouts. The Phillies are one win away to clinch the division for the 5th strait season. GO PHILLIES !

THE DYNASTY

If the Philadelphia Phillies win the World Series this season we could be quickly approaching what can be considered a dynasty. With a World Series win in 2008, and a National League Championship in 2009, also reaching the NLCS last season, winning the World Series this season could make a good case that this team is already or on it's way in becoming a dynasty. It makes life all the more beutiful, Don't you think?

Phillies on Fire!

The Philadelphia Phillies are on fire. With Hunter Pence consistantly hitting enables Ryan Howard to swing at strikes opposed to balls in the dirt. Also with Polanco back at third base is key due to the injury to chase Utley. Pitcher Cliff Lee has made a run for a Cy Young award form the National League in part of an amazing August with a 4-0 record with comeplete game shutouts in all but 1 due to a two out hit in the 9 inning to spoil the shutout. Front runner" Doc" Halladay has been pitching like a solid  Cy Young candidant
ever since the season opener. This should make for an interesting duel when we reach the post- season. Having Roy Oswalt back in the rotation  makes it pretty interesting down the stretch  for Charley Manuel
to decide who his fourth starter whould be in the post- season because that legitimately that is Vance Worley
spot. What do you think?
